    Is that PSE8 or PRE8?

Does it crash as soon as you launch Organizer or crashes while analyzing media upfront?

    Thanks

It’s quite power hungry and if you don’t really need it you can turn everything off to improve performance.

Open Organizer and click on the menu:

Edit >> Preferences >> Auto Analyzer Options

Then uncheck all the boxes and click OK

Okay.. you also need to tell if it is Premiere Elements or Photoshop Elements or both?

As 99jon said, it uses a lot of memory and cpu for the autoanaylzer function, so better turn it off, if it is not needed as such. You can kill its exe from the Task Manager "ElementsAutoAnalyzer" if running already.

    Thanks
