Problem converting catalog to PC to Mac, delete catalog and start over?

I ordered a new iMac and researched how to move my PSE 8 catalog from PC to Mac. Following Barbara Brundage's instructions, I first downloaded the trial of PSE 11 and converted the catalog on the PC. To test this, I successfully imported the catalog into PSE 11 on my son's Macbook Pro. I kept the existing folder structure and the files came in with tags organized and correct and all existing albums were intact. My new iMac arrived and I installed PSE 11. I imported the same catalog from my external drive but unfortunately didn't look at Barbara's instructions while doing so. Now I have 20000 files in one folder, no albums, and tags with no organization whatsoever. I realize that I did something wrong and I want to start over, but I can't figure out how to find and delete the PSE 11 catalog and assets on the Mac. Thanks for any help.

The catalog location will be shown under help>System info:

If all the assets are in one folder and you want to start over, just send the folder to the trash.

When restoring, remember to look for the .tly folder in the backup.
