What's the position of flash professional in game and stage3d era?

Flash is professional for vector animations

but with game and stage3d, bitmap seems the best choice,

with 2d animation flash pro can export spritesheet for starling in cs6

but how about 3d animation and 3d scene ?

adobe seems to choose away3d as the first 3d engine , but the 3d pipeline is still missing here

so what's the future of Flash Pro to support Adobe's gaming plan ?

I don't know about Adobe's Gaming Plan, but Flash should stay as a vector animation software in my opinion. Away3D and all that stuff are just programming frameworks. Flash helps users to export there vector animation for stage3D, and that's it. At the end, it is still 2D.

If you want to have a 3D pipeline, I think that another software should be developped with AS3 in mind, like unity or things like that. But Flash isn't appropriate IMHO. Maybe Adobe is in the course. Maybe not....
