Illustrator CS6 problem.

Dec 21, 2012 1:11 AM

Hello everyone,

I installed Adobe CS6 Master Collection on several client machines trough client management software. (about 80 clients)

On one client I've run into very strange behaviour of Illustrator CS6.

When Illustrator CS6 is not open, I can double click a file and it will open in Illustrator CS6. All good right?

But then, when I want to open another file by double clicking it from the finder it doesn't respond. Furthermore when I open a file from within Illustrator, it just doesn't take any action.

The other programs do not have this issue.

I have no experience on debugging the creative suite, can anyone help me debug the process and tell me where to find log files for example?

Thanks in advance

Jan

Is it possible that the file is open, but that the focus of Illustrator is not on the file you are opening?

I have this same issue with my Illustrator. CS6 Design Standard.

It's not an issue of the focus, I have no other files open.
