Is Lightroom 3 compatible with Windows 8?

I currently have Lightroom 3 (version 3.6) for my Macbook, but I am planning on buying a small PC laptop to use for traveling, and some of the PCs I'm looking at only come with Windows 8. I haven't been able to find much clear information about whether I will be able to run Lightroom 3 on Windows 8 - any help is appreciated!

    You won't know until you try. Tpp many specifics involved. Same as with any legacy versions: Works for some, not for otehrs, may never work at all.
