Encore 2.0 Activation Problem (2012-Dec)

Hi

 

I'm having trouble activating Encore 2.0. 

 

My operating system is WinXP SP3, 4-Gig Memory. 

 

I've never had a problem activating it before.  My hard drive crashed and had to reinstall.

 

When I call the activate telephone number (866) 772-3623 I get someone who says they can't help me.  They then say to remain on the line and they will be right back. The phone then goes dead.

 

I've tried about 5 times so far and now I get about 5 minutes of music and then silence, then it goes dead. 

 

I'm kind of in a hurry as usual.

    I've been trying to get this activated since before Christmas.  The 5 times has been spread over the past week.

     

    I wish Adobe would move there tech support back to the USA.

    I have read in other messages that after "some number" of activations you reach a limit, and only someone at Adobe may reset your number

     

    Sorry... you are just going to have to be persistent with the activation telephone number

     

    This is a user to user forum, not Adobe support... nobody here will be able to help with activation issues
