File recovery CS5

Is there anyway to recover a PSD file in CS5.1, once it's been saved in another format and resized?

    If you opened a psd and saved as a jpeg you should have both images.

    it was a case where I opened a PSD file, resized it then "saved" as a JPG.  When you then close out Photoshop it asks if you want to save the changes you made to the original doc.  I can only guess that I must have mistakenly clicked yes.  So only the revised file exists in the folder.
