After editing photos, do I have to save each one in a seperate file? How do I save them?

    Yes, each edited photo must be saved in a separate file.

    You save them using File->Save

    You can save over youroriginal file but I would not recommend it. Why would you want to destroy your original. Using Save As you have full control of the file name PSE will save to.

    Yes, that is correct you don't want to overwrite your originals.

    If you started in the Organizer and chose a photo to edit, you would use File->Save, as the name of the photo has already been changed, and you are not overwriting your original.

    If you didn't use the Organizer, you want to use File->Save As
