I can not open Premiere Elements 9 anymore.

Everytime I click on it to open it brings up a Debug Event that says "Premiere Elements 9.0 has encountered an error. [..\..\Src\EMS\WSEMUtil.cpp-602]. It has a continues button that I click on but nothing happens.

When I got my computer Adobe Photo Shop Elements 9 and Premiere Elements 9 came already installed on it.

It is a windows 7 (64) operating system.

If anyone can help I would appreciate it.

What has changed between the last time PE9 worked and now?

If you have updated Windows (automatic or manual updates) that will very often create a situation where you need to update your video driver

You may also need to update Quicktime

As John T. points out, an obsolete video driver can cause problems with PrE, including failure to launch. See this article for more info: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/948651?tstart=0
