I am on Windows 7 and FrameMaker 11. I just upgraded to Win 7 recently.

I use Courier Standard in several documents, but whenever I save to PDF, the font now appears as Courier Bold. I'm not sure why this is. Any ideas?

Have you checked the Adobe PDF printer instance to see if any substitutions are defined? These are in your printeer preferences & properties settings. A couple of places to check are:

1. Preferences: make sure fonts are downloaded as softfonts.

2. Check the substitutiuon table (Properties > Device Settings)  to see if the printer instance has been told to swap CourierStd for Courier.

Arnis,

Thanks so much! My options looked a bit different from yours - maybe because I am in a corporate environment? Anyhow, I opened some other option page and moved Courier Std to "always embed". This did the trick.
