lightroom 4.3 problem

No Image in the center box

Hello I'm using a trial version of lightroom 4.3 but i have a problem:

when i use the develop module and i choose an image from the bottom line, often the picture doesn't show in the center box.

Also ( always in the develop module) when is possible to see the image in the center box , after 2 o 3 modification of the image ( light, white balancing or every other modification of the image), the image disappears from the center box.

The imags are all JPG with a dimension of 3872x2592 or less.

Can you help me?

    Hi HF,

     

    Could you provide us with a screenshot of what lightroom looks like with the image missing?

     

    I have a couple suggestions that you could try.

     

    1. Try updating your video card driver -- Go directly to the manufacturer's website and download the latest video driver for your card and install that

     

    2. Try starting lightroom up in a new admin user account to see if the images show up properly in that new user.

     

    Try these out and get back to us if you're still seeing the trouble.

    It could be a corrupt (i.e. outdated) monitor profile or no profile at all.

    With Lr you rmonitor should be calibrated regularly to make sur ethat colors and tonality display correctly.

    Without a calibrate monitor there is no way of telling if what you are doing to your images while editing is correct or not.

     

    If you don't have the calibration tools, you can - as a temporary solution - set you rmonitor to a sRGB profile.
