What Mac? Looks like a problem with the OS itself, disk access on a mapped folder/ alias more specifically. Also provide the full list for the crashed Thread 0 from the logs as explained here:

Recommend first updating Dreamweaver to the latest version. Go to Help > Updates, which will check for any available updates, and then download and install them for you.

If updating does not resolve the issue, you might try clearing your Dreamweaver cache: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/494811

Or the entire Configuration folder (a.k.a. preferences): http://helpx.adobe.com/dreamweaver/kb/restore-preferences-dreamweaver- cs4-cs5.html

    Found the solution !!

Sometimes you need to look somewhere else for the solution so I googled the error line and it came out other osx users are suffering from crashes in other apps or games etc. So i found out its about SIMBL...

In library >Application Support > SIMBL

just rename it to something else and DW Works !!!

    Hello Serco Tec,

I'm having the same problem described above.

In your post you mention this SIMBL... I have looked in both Libraries and find no such file in the Applications Support folder. Spotlight doesn't find it either.

I would appreciate it if you clarify the exact location of this file.

    Thank you,

    JV

    Hi Jaime,

Check if you are on ML 10.8.2 (Because i do not know if this problem occurs in SL or previous versions of ML.

Be sure you are getting the same error in your error report page saying : "Application Specific Information:

*** Terminating app due to uncaught exception 'NSInvalidArgumentException', reason: '+[SIMBL logMessage:atLevel:]: unrecognized selector sent to class..."

Be sure you can see all the library items (by default library and items are invisible, ask google how to reveal.

If all revealed and SIMBL is still not there try installing it from http://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/44354/easysimbl

Try running the program crashing. If it still occurs then find SIMBL in your library and rename to something else.

    I hope it helps...

    SercoTec,

    Thanks for your reply.

It turns out the preferences were damaged.

Re-named them and the program restarted normally... now back to work!
