A little pre-info;
I work as an IT Technician in a school. I have NO dreamweaver knowledge. I am put in a position to design a new website for my school. I have NO interest in dreamweaver - I have been working on a template for at least 3+ months and had to restart over and over. I simply cannot get my head round dreamweaver - I have read countless guides, tuts and watched videos - I go to apply what I learn, get so far - then it ALWAYS seems to mess up to a point where I cannot fix it.
Still Reading? Good.
I know EXACTLY how I want my website to look, how to navigate - everything. But I do not have to know how to translate that into dreamweaver - even using design view. Infact my MAJOR problem is SPRYMENU - this thing is literally killing my brain, it's so demoralizing spending aboslute hours on on something for it to just go completely wrong.
So before I write a 10 page QQ thread, I would like to ask if anyone would even consider helping me - because I KNOW that if I told you what I want you could do in 30 minutes what I have failed to do in 3 months. It's such a basic website layout but I just need someone to come and polish this sprymenu business up for me - because no amount of "go here and read this or watch this" is going to help me.. honest to god.
I'd be willing to help you but I won't use Spry menus. Adobe abandoned the Spry framework years ago and has no intention of doing further development with it.
If you're still interested, you can reach me through my web site.

Interesting, I was un aware of that fact - however I am using CS3 after all. I guess that blows my idea out of the sky. Unfortunately I am not in a position to spend any money. This more of a ''oh your IT guy you can do everything for nothing" kind of scenario. (I am actually an apprentice working towards MCITP).
I have a good friend who is fully Cisco certified & the head IT guy for a major US insurance company. He's highly skilled with all things related to computers, servers & security but can't a build a web site to save his life. He's just not wired that way. Very few people are able to do it all. So I fully understand your dilemma.
Perhaps if you explain this to your superiors, they'll relent and give you an operating budget to work with.
