PSE 10 doesn't recognize raw file

Have been using PSE 10 on a four year old Macbook pro with no problems.  Opens RAW file with no problem.  Just installed the same PSE 10 on a new iMac, and PSE 10 editor says it can't open file because it doesn't recognize the file.  Any suggestions?

    You probaly need to update your camera raw plugin from within the photoshop elements 10 editor under Help>Updates.

    Updated to 6.6 then 7.2, no help

    The latest update for pse 10 is camera raw 6.7.

    Pse 10 can't use the camera raw 7.... plugins.

     

    What camera are the files from?

    The canon 5d mkIII requires the 6.7 camera raw plugin and pse 10 does support the camera 6.7 plugin.

     

    When you went to Help>Updates from within the pse 10 editor, was there an updated version of camera raw listed for installing?

    Downloaded 6.7. When I tried to install I got screen with red triangle with interior exclamation point and a statement "some updates failed to install. Then a darker grey box stating "update is not applicable".
