Site pref file. How do I reconnect?

File pull down not showing sites in CS4. I have the Site Pref file(Macintosh HD:<username>:Library:Application Support:Adobe:Common:12.0:Sites:Site Prefs) How do I reconnect? Thanks for your help.

    Sounds like you lost your site definitions somehow.

     

    Go to Site > New Site

     

    Fill out the info as though you are making a new site, but when it asks "Where on your computer do you want to store your files" browse to, or enter in, the path to the local folder on your HD with all your site's images and pages in it. Finish up by entering in your FTP info and you should be good to go.

    Unless you're using a local testing server or some of the other more advanced options available in DW, all it should really entail is browsing to the existing site folder on your HD and entering the FTP info.

     

    It's really only a couple clicks, an FTP address, username and password.

     

    Unless you have something else going on that I'm not understanding, the entire process should take about 20 seconds per site.
