I used a widet maker from MooTools where you build a widget then select "add to page" and it inserts it where you want outside of Dreamweaver. I tried it twice and it didn't work out so I went another way. Now however I have orphaned code from this widget still on the page and it's in an uneditable area. Is there an easy way to get rid of it?
site is http://isuckatgolf.net
The code is from line 181 to 195. You'll see it's the same code more or less twice as I tried twice to put the widget in.
It's taking a lot of space 84KB and is trying to connect taking some 2 seconds. I have to get that off the page.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Ok, I'm going to show my ignorance here, but here goes. After I posted the question I started fooling around trying to change the editable regions in the main template so I could get into the uneditable region of the index page. But before that I went to the index file, and selected open in notepad. I found the code, deleted it, then hit save. Nothing happened, the window didn't close or anything so I figured "that didn't work". And I went on and then finally wrote here. But I just discovered the code is gone from the index page. Could it really be that easy to edit uneditable areas of a page in Dreamweaver?
