Please go to ~/library/app support/adobe/elements organizer/11.0/organizer/ and trash the files-

    psa.prf

    status.dat

Now launch Organizer and see if it now has the taskbar.

    Thanks

On your MAC, please click somewhere on the screen. Now on the top of the application you will be seeing menu items. Click "Go" from here. A dropdown list will appear. From here choose "Go to Folder".

Now type ~/library in the textfield which appears and hit enter.

You will see the folders I meantioned in the finder windows which opens up on doing so.

And NO, reinstall will not fix it since preferences do not get deleted upon uninstall.

    Thanks

What resolution is your screen set to?

To know this, go to System Preferences >> Displays on your MAC.

Since the files you trashed are still there in the trash bin, you havent lost anything so please don't worry.

Those are preference files which remember the state of different widgets on the application user interface.

    Thanks

Is your taskbar hidden behind your system dock?

If yes, in System Preferences >> go to Dock and set it to "Automatically hide and show the Dock".

If not, I would request you to please share a screenshot of the issue.

    Let's see if this helps.

    Thanks

While Organizer is launched, click Cmd + Shift + 3 from your keyboard. You will see a Screen Shot.png created on your desktop.

Upload it in your reply on this forum. Click on the small camera icon that you see in the reply field.

    Thanks

I thought I posted to this thread but I guess I didn't. In Organizer PSE 11the task bar is missing, I just use alt/tab to jump around. Hopefully Adobe will put a fix out for this(ha! ha!).

Interesting that it came back. I have never had one from the day I installed PSE 11, several other folks haven't either. In Editor it is there, just not in Organizer.
