I am tasked with generating a distributable Wordpress Theme package based on the layout and look of a site built with dream weaver. The site webmaster has given me permission to use their site as the basis for our project. They also provided the CSS and a template.php file to get started. My question is how to get from point A to point B:
Point A --- php based, dreamweaver authored site
Point B --- Wordpress theme package downloadble to install on std wordpress installation to replicate the site.
Looking forward to the best answer I can find --- lol
Point A Site: http://www.samoset.org/
$80 for a first time converting. Don't underestimate your services, especially if you are in over your head. The way to get from Point A to Point B depends on your understanding of Wordpress. Have you worked with Wordpress before and understand it's template structure? Here's Wordpress docs for a starting point.
im very adept at working with existing themes to purpose them for the needs of the site and audience.. I just have not delved into the world of ground-up theme development because I am more focused on using the system for delivery, rather than constructing the system itself.
Not sure this is what you're looking for, but . . .
