A fvriend of mine told me to try to start with elements -ok, I did. the maxium I was able to do -load a picture and make it colored or cut it by the system there. nothing more. I would like learn to work with it - is there any online course ( pl. for total beginners only) or any other way how to learn to make brochures, ect

There are lots of good video tutorials at Adobe TV.

If you want a regular course with other students, assignments, etc, in addition to tutorials, I'd check out Sara Froelich's courses at lvsonline.com. They're not expensive and everyone I know who's taken a course from her loves it. (I have no affiliation with them at all, just relying on the feedback I've heard.)

You can start with PSE help file and then also watch videos on adobe tv. Tv.adobe.com videos are good to learn and start using the product.
