What version of CS are you trying to download?
Did you purchase the software for a mac originally? It will not install on a mac if you purchased for a PC.

You need to be more specific. The original CS was released in 2005 or so and we're currently at CS6. If you really mean one of the older versions, it's simply not compatible and you need to get a new one.
