Smartbrush tool in Elements 11

Jan 23, 2013 11:01 PM

When using the Smartbrush tool in Elements 11, I cannot get the slider controls to show on the right hand side of the workspace - the tutorial shows them and describes how to use them (easy!), but I can't get them to show. Help! (Please).

    Hi ,

Can You post the tutorial link ?

Are you trying to find out the layers panel on the right hand side (click on the Layers button on the task bar icon or Window >> Layers)?

When using the smart brush or detailed smart brush and adjustment layer with a mask is automatically created when you make a selection e.g. if choosing to adjust brightness. In the layers pallet you need to ensure the mask thumbnail is selected (highlighted with a blue outline) and then double click on the adjustment layer symbol (shown arrowed). The properties dialog will then pop up and you can tweak the sliders.

If you cant see the layers pallet click the top menu:

    Window >> Layers
