I am trying to print to my Ricoh Aficio SP C811DN out of InDesign CS6 from Windows 7. The InDesign will only print some objects and print out a second page with the error:
ERROR: undefined
OFFENDING COMMAND: o
STACK:
778.241
99.1519
I have updated to the newest PS driver and am still having problems. If I export to PDF and print from Acrobat everything prints fine. However, that is very time consuming. Also, if I print from my mac from InDesign or Acrobat, I don't have any problems. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Anthony
It could be that one of the placed graphics on the page is offending the PostScript rip. Open the placed files in their respective Photoshop and Illustrator and do a Save As and then when back at InDesign do a Save As. Maybe you will be fortunate enough to cure it that way. I often suspect .ai files first!
The only Linked file is a Photoshop file. I did open the file and do the Save As, but that didn't work either. The file prints part of the page as before. However it no longer gives me an error page.
I can send a file to a printer the printer starts and says data in. However will never print the file. Any ideas? Again, If I export the file to PDF and hit print, it prints right away.
