Dreamweaver Interface--layer panels?

Feb 6, 2013 9:57 AM

This is probabbly a simple question. How do i get my HTML window to always be on top? I like the file window to be in back of the HTML window, but for some reason in cs6, the files window is always in front. Is there a way to keep the HTML window in front?

Have been wondering the same thing. Anyone from Adobe have an answer?

Not sure I understand this question.

My Files panel (F8) is to the immediate left of my Code/Design View panel.

I'm using CS6 and the Coder Plus workspace.

See the attached screen shot. My Files panel (on the right) is ALWAYS over top of the window on the left. The only way to see the entire window on the left is to minimize the Files panel. I used to be able to click the window on the left and it would bring it in front of the Files panel.Screen Shot 2013-05-06 at 3.56.39 PM.png

Looks like your Files Panel is expanded to show both Remote and Local files. Try Collapsing it.

Yep. I've worked with them that way for years. What's gone is the ability to toggle back and forth, to bring the other window to the front.
