How can I have smart guides reappear?

The have suddenly disappeared and I cannot bring them back. Have tried restarting but there is nothing I changed to have affected them. I checked preferences and they are still checked. Strange.

Anyone have an idea what has happened?

That was it. Thank you so much. I have no idea how that othe menu option got turned on but fixed it.
