People analyzer not working in photoshop 11 with D800 RAW photos

Jan 26, 2013 10:05 AM

I have photoshop elements 11.  People analyzer will not reconize people or allow me to tag people in my photos.  It works with my older camera photos such as from my Nikon D300 but will not work with photos from my D800 (RAW).

Have you gone to Help>Updates in the editor to be sure you have the latest version of camera raw?

When you go to About>Plug-in in the editor (under Help in windows, under the Adobe Photoshop Elements Editor menu on a mac), what version does it show?

Sorry I wasn't clear. I mean if you go to editor>help>about plug-in>camera raw, what do you see here:

Hmm. How are you getting the photos onto your computer? Are you using the nikon software? If so, is it the very latest version?

Right, but since there aren't other people here complaining that it doesn't work for the D800, the odds are that it's something in your setup, and looking through it piece by piece is the best way to narrow it down.
