newbie needs help hiding shape outline

i'm sure this is simple for someone who knows what they are doing -- i created three circles which overlap at certain points, and each of the spaces is filled in with a different color.  i need to hide the thin, black outline of the circles.  i have made sure that there is no stroke, but it's still there.  any help would be greatly appreciated!

No stroke = no outline.  What you are seeing is the preview of the shape.

Do you have any groups in that object? Maybe the circles are grouped and without an outline, but the circles themselves within the group do have outlines.

It looks like a stroke. What do you see in the Stroke box near the bottom of the Toolbox if you select everything?

If anything but None, you may click None and see.

    Edit: Hi Erica.

Madamanda, would it be possible to see a screencap of your workspace, with everything selected? We might get a better idea of what's going on this way. Thanks!

    Hi Jacob!
