My source is a fuji MJPEG in the avi container. Previously I did cut and export with this source file and it worked well. Only the "automatic analyze" didn't work. Due to your answer I tried to export my avi source file in PE11 to a MP4 file. Then I opened this MP4 file with PE11 and - voila - "automatic analyze" works fine!!
An "InstantMovie" works now fine. It's a little bit clumsy to export every source to MP4 to have all functions in PE11 working (but on the other hand MP4 saves disc space
