Elements 11

Photoshop Elements 11 will open raw files but when saving them as jpegs it crashes.  Same when trying to open jpegs.  Help!

    It's strange. Can you try "Save for Web" option?

    Also it seems you cannot directly import jpeg, is my understanding of your problem correct?

    I can't do anything with the jpeg.  As soon as it tries to open Elements shuts down.  I can edit in raw; however, when I do open copy Elements shuts down.  I can't do anything with a jpeg.  Interesting, I have a copy of Elements 10 on my computer and it does the same thing.

    Launch the PSE11 Editor and go to:

     

    Edit >> Preferences >> General

     

    Click the button to re-set preferences.

     

    Close the program and re-launch.
