CS6 Properties bar not displaying properly

Jan 29, 2013 12:34 PM

The properties bar in Dreamweaver CS6 appears to be truncated, so that the Title and Target fields are not properly displayed. Each of these two fields is one or maybe two characters wide, so I can't enter any text into them, or read anything that is already there. I have searched through the Adobe forums, and on the Internet in general, and can't find any reference to this problem. Does anyone have any idea if there's a fix for it?

Any helpful suggestions most welcome!

Julie

    Which OS?

Which version and build # of DW do you have?

    Which workspace are you using?

Just for giggles, try different workspaces.

    Julie,

Has DW CS6 always behaved this way or this is something new?

I'm having the same issue, only on Windows 7. Mine is MORE truncated, in fact. I'm only getting the T in Title and none of the boxes. Sure would like to see a fix for this!

I have CS5 and CS6. I'm seeing it on both of them. Which leads me to think it must be a system problem; something to do with my settings.

I am also getting this problem. Have had Adobe CS6 for 6-7 months, previously on XP with no issues at all. Have just switched to Win 8 and am getting the truncation issue. Did this ever get resolved?

    Julie,

We have tried reproducing this issue on our machines here and we aren't able to do so.

Are you a subscription user? If yes, can you update to the latest version and let us know if you are still seeing this issue?

To update, go to Help->Updates and install the update.

    Thanks,

    Nithya

Have you tried adjusting your display's screen resolution settings?

Sigh!!. We tried to reproduce this issue with all the resolutions you mentioned here but couldn't. If you get time, can you send us a video of the exact steps you are doing along with your work files(if you can share them)

You can email them to veerambu@adobe.com

The complete system information would also be helpful to us.

    Thanks,

    Nithya
