Hi,

is there a way to create footnotes outside of the textbox? and if not, would it be possible in the future versions?

Keep dreaming - I've been campaigning for better footnotes since InDesign CS3! And I'm sure others have been way before that.

Keep dreaming - I've been campaigning for better footnotes since InDesign CS3! And I'm sure others have been way before that.

Footnotes were first implemented in CS2. Its features, drawbacks, and bugs are exactly the same in the current version of InDesign, CS6.

I'm starting to think the wishform just is a redirect > thrash. (It's either that, or the Flash/HTML5/iApp fanbase use automated bots to fill it up with whatever the current Fad of The Year is.)

Please can anyone suggest a way to edit the (superscript) numbering of footnote in ID 5.5? I need to repeat numbers ie footnote 3 is used several times in the text...

Any suggestions please?

hi,

i think, this is not possible. instead of it, you can write the other numbers (and applying style of footnote references) where you need them, out of original footnote numbering.
