It appears CS6 now defaults the 'Go to Previous/Next Edit Point' buttons
to recognize enabled tracks only.
I can use the 'Shift+Page Down' for 'Go to next Edit Point on Any Track'...
but is it possible to change the function of the UI buttons defaults back to
'Go to previous/next Edit Point on Any Track'?
Everyone wants keyboard shortcut keys to suit them selves.... and then you come along and want to modify the UI Buttons.
Before someone else says it...(here comes the ubiquitous response...stand by. caller...)
Please make a Feature Request..
The more people that ask for something...the more people can get to wait and see if thy will get their wish.
You're right... it was half question, half joke.
I just re-mapped the 'Shift+' shortcuts to single keys.
Not worth the formality of a feature request.
After my first full day working in the revised CS6 editing interface
I am very pleased with 99% of what I have found.
Were you on CS xxx? before today Joe?
I really like the CS6 UI and functioning ...and have got it running pretty sweet with a few little KBD shortcuts of my own making.
Tell us about the 1% that has not pleased you.
I have been running CS5, skipped 5.5.
After only one day of editing, it would not be fair to comment
on the 1% dissatisfaction ratio I reserved for myself.
I need a bit more time to exercise functionality...
but so far, so good.
