Photoshop loading some Blues as Black?

Jan 30, 2013 11:18 AM

Hi

Having upgraded my PC. I did a new windows installed and installed Photoshop CS6.

The problem I have.... When I open or paste an image that contains certain colours. They show in photoshop as black. (only under RGB)

photoshopissue.jpg

Loading the image in MS Paint doesn't produce the issue and when I save out from Photoshop. The saved image is fine.

All settings are the default out of the box.

Any ideas?   It's driving me nuts now!

Thanks for looking.

    What OS version?

Could be your display profile, or it could be your GPU driver.

That means the problem is with the video driver.

In this case ATI introduced some problems in the latest drivers. You might want to roll back to the 12.8 drivers (last stable version).

Is there perhaps an ETA on a fix? That is without rolling back drivers.

I'm having the same issue, same card and everything.

No, I don't think we've heard back yet on this particular bug.
