Lost Organizer's photos!

All Albums and Photos have disappeared from the PS Elements 11 Organizer!  I had been working with them along with my classes on Lynda.com PSE11. When I opened Organizer today, there was nothing there, no photos. I tried to Restore Computer to earlier time, but that didn't work.  I know they've got to be out there somewhere! Can you please advise?

    Have you tried just doing a hard drive search for them?

    Ben, I did that twice. I also uninstalled PSE and reinstalled it, thinking they might appear. Not!

    When I started importing the photos again from Pictures, some were marked with the blue PS icon. I must have deleted them when I was trying to do the class assignments.

    What appears now on Organizer is a column on the right of the grid that's like the Exercise in the lesson (nature, people, etc). It's a mystery!

    If the photos appear to have disappeared from your Organizer, then a possible cause is that you (accidentally) opened an empty catalog or (accidentally) created a new catalog.

     

    Search your computer for other catalog files, they are *.pse*db

     

    If you find some other catalogs, try double-clicking on them.

    Click File >> Manage Catalogs and see if there are more than one catalogs.

    I did find them!  I went to File, then Manage Catalogs, voila! there was all my hard work from last week.  I had only clicked on "find" catalog earlier...duh!!!  Many, many thanks to everyone!
