Yeah, I'm basically having the same problem as this guy in this link here:
Only I'm running it on a Samsung ATIV Smart PC Pro tablet, (Win8 64bit) and it's a trial version of PSE 11.
I'd like to note that it wasn't doin' this when I first installed it; it waited until after I'd performed a restart to begin with it. Reinstalled it and it still does the same thing.
It ain't the computer because the pressure sensitivity works fine in the other art programs I'm tryin' out, and I've fully updated drivers/PSE 11 itself.
Anyone got any ideas I'm missin' here? The guys at the local computer shop were as perplexed as I am.
Anyhow, thanks in advance for any advice anyone can give.
You posted in the Photoshop forum by mistake. I've moved your post to the Elements forum where you might get more answers.
But we really haven't had great luck with the drivers for knockoff tablets.
Most likely you're seeing a bug in the tablet driver.
I appreciate your moving it to the right place, it's a big help.
I also appreciate your accusation that it's a knockoff tablet, because that reminds me to clarify some stuff: Namely that this thing is in fact running on Wacom tech even if it is not in fact a Wacom tablet.
For anyone perusing this topic who doesn't know about the ATIV PC Pro, it's essentially Samsung's Windows 8 Slate; kind of like the Series 7, but newer and more Windows 8...er. All it's pen driver's have Wacom's stamp all over them, I checked.
However Mr. Cox, you're probably right. It's probably just driver problems since the thing is just too flippin' new. New machine, new OS... a new generation of everything and I adopted too early. *shrugs*
Anyway, I still thank anyone who's readin' this topic for readin'. The fact that you're even thinkin' about the problems of some stranger in a faraway land is pretty cool.
