SWF file lagging in browser

Hi! I have an SWF file that I want to cover the browser window, the document is 974x578 pixels and when I view it in the browser in that size it's reasonably slow. But when I enlarge the window it slows down to something like 8 fps. Is there any fix to this problem?

The only way to help you would be to know more about what you are trying to do! What frame rate are you targetting initially? What objects, if any, is your application rendering? Do you have any expensive ENTER_FRAME operations?

The best place to start would be to research Flash optimization articles but if you can provide more information about what you are doing I can point you in the right direction.
