Error getting license. Server communication problem: E_ADEPT_LIC_TOKEN_NULL_DATA

I get this error message when I download ebooks for NookColor - Error getting license Server Communication Problem: E-ADEPT_LIC_TOKEN_NULL_DATA.  It looks like the ebook downloaded successfully onto my computer but when I open the file it's blank. Barnes&Noble digital help chat was not very helpful. Appreciate any ideas on this. Thanks.

I'm having the same problem, and the Adobe website isn't any help.

Did anyone find an answer to this?  I can't seem to find anything on the web with the specific error.
