Perspective Shadow on Detailed Image?

How would I make a perspective shadow on an image such as this?

I have the Alien Skin plug-ins but it doesn't cover all the points of the image.  I've also tried transforming a black fill layer with distort, skew and warp.  Very messy.

 

Don't see any other plug-ins for CS6.

    You could try the Puppet Tool. Generally, though, it might be simpler to just buy a suitable 3D model from Turbosquid and render it yourself...
