I'll start by saying I'm at work and I'm not sure of the specs of my PC nor the version of Premier Elements 11 I'm using. I did just get Elements/Photoshop in a bundle for my birthday last month, if that helps. Sorry about that. But I think my question won't requre that info.
I edited some video last night - I took a clip from a video (GoPro) I shot, sped it up and inserted it in the editing timeline. It played fine. Once I had all the elements lined up (opening video segment, soundtrack, the edited video in question and a still image) I rendered it and the recently edited video went black. I tried EVERYthing I could think of and nothing worked. Very frustrating - but hopefully a simple answer. (I am a VERY new user.) Thanks!!
Where is this video located? Did you use Premiere Elements' Video Importer to get the video from the camcorder to your computer? (If the video is still on the camcorder and you disconnected the camcorder, it will go blank because the program no longer has a connection to your original video files.)
