I am exporting through "Media". It renders a Blu-ray file which is very large. I want a high quality output to save on a Blu-ray disk. It also renders a file approximately 25% the size as an MPEG 4. The MPEG4 file plays OK on my monitor, but I do not think it is of hte same quality as the Blu-ray file. I save the exported CS6 files to my hard drive. When I play it back the Blu-ray file on my monitor, it plays in slow motion. The MPEG 4 file plays properly. The video was shot on a Panasonic HPX170 in 720P HD progressive. I select the same settings for export.
I burned a blu-ray disk and played it in my Sony Blu-ray player. Screen shows "file is corrupt or unsupported". Other Blu-ray disks I burned play OK. Could be the disk (my last one in the office). I will get more disks and give it another go late tonight or tomorrow. This is the first time I have used Adobe Community. If you do not follow up later, I assume I will be out of luck re. further advice.
Verbatim Blu-ray disc BD-R 6X 25GB. Just ran out to buy some more as these have been pretty reliable up till now .. only one faulty disk that I know of. I was able to write to this last one but it did not play. I will try again and see if I get a better result.
I just tried encore earlier on a shortened version of my video and it did not work. Tried a second time with different settings and it played on my Blu-ray. I will now try burning the entire video.
