Adobe Community: After creating 18 individual playlists, they preview w. only the end point. Why?

This should work fine. What object did you set the end action on? The chapter playlist or the chapter?

If that is not it, please post a screenshot of your flowchart.

I don't understand what you mean by "only the End Action plays."

What should work fine? The End Action is set to go back to the Main Menu, not the chapter or chapter playlist.

I have attempted to copy/paste my flowchart, and also to use "add image", but neither works

The question is what is the end action set on. You can set an end action on the chapter playlist (and should). You can set an end action on the chapter itself (and should not). You can set overrides (and should not).

Use your printscreen button (I'm assuming PC). Paste into photoshop. Crop as needed. Save as almost anything (I use png or jpg).

Then use the insert image button and navigate to that file.

Or use the built-in Windows snip tool and skip Ps.

I knew there was something I forgot to get handy after that reinstall! I like its instant cropping control.

You do have to save it to a file to get it into the forum, correct?

I used the snipping tool to copy the flowchart and made it a jpeg. When I went to the Image button in the Forum, the space was black, and I couldn't use it. I also tried copy/paste. No dice.

As for the End Action, I want them all to go back to my main menu. Shall I make that a Chapter Playlist?

I set the End Action on the Chapter Playlist to go back to the Main Menu.

Check chapter markers to see if any have end actions. Check everything to see if there are any overrides.

What should work fine is that you created a chapter playlist, put one chapter in it, and (I'm assuming) selected the chapter play list and set an end action (to the main menu).

When I went to the Image button in the Forum, the space was black,

I'm not sure what you did. You click on the camera icon (insert image), a window opens and you browse to the file you saved with the snipping tool, you select the filename, then click insert image.

Are you saying that it inserted an image but it was black?

I will recheck for any overrides. I didn't put any End Actions on the markers.

OK, I have End Actions only on Chapter Playlists. All of them open to the main menu, which when PLAY is clicked, show the video. There is no other content. I have revised the list and am attempting to add three more in the same fashion, but nothing happens. Maybe Encore is just as tired as I am. I have tried everything possible and reviewed the how-to videos, but no answers. I appreciate any possible input.

Sorry, but what you are saying doesn't make sense to me.

I assume you are looking at the Encore preview. And I assume the following:

You have a main menu, and the preview starts with that.

You may have a button that links to the main timeline, and that when you click it is plays the whole movie. (You may not have such an option.)

You have multiple buttons, each of which is linked to one of the chapter playlists. When you click one of those buttons, it plays that chapter and returns to the menu.

Is that the basics? What is different?
