Layer > Layer Styles > Create Layers

Hello:

 

 

I am using this function for the first time and I am wondering about a dialog that pops up and says:

 

   "Some aspects of Effects cannot be reproduced with layers"

 

I've tried the manual for what this means but thus far I haven't found an answer.

 

Just wondering what exactly this means.

    Just a warning that it is possible for some of the layer styles to not be created as a layer. Its kind of trial by error thing to find out which styles won't be a layer. I haven't seen anything in writing that states what styles won't be or what would stop it from happening to a style.

    Thank you so much for your time. I wasn't able to find any info about it either but I'm not so good at keywords yet. So, i just thought I'd ask someone else.

     

    I guess I got lucky b/c both of the LS's i used were put on new layers.
