Import, or fault?

Hi all

Just downloaded LR4 and am having serious issues importing. I can't.....not a thing!

NOt from camera, flash drive, HDD or usb. LR4 just say click import, then goes into Not Responding mode!!

Please help....I am itching to get playing!

    What else is connected to the computer?  Phone's are a main suspect at the moment, but other network devices and webdav servers can sometimes cause issues in showing the import dialog - LR checks the attached 'drives' when it shows the import dialog and can sometimes get 'stuck' if the device doesn't respond.
