I've been trying to figure this out in both Muse and Dreamweaver...
Anyway, here it is:
I have a setup where I have a "menu column" that's 200 px wide, filled gray, and a "main content" area that's 760 wide, filled white.
I need the main column to expand vertically when content is added (which it does), but also need the "menu" column to match up along with the height of the "main content" column.
How do I do this?
I assume there are several ways to do this... anything would help.
Maybe this will shed some light.
Option #2 Faux Columns is the easiest to implement.
I have fallen in love the simplicity in using http://www.projectseven.com/tutorials/css/pvii_columns/.
Simply link to the JS file and add a class to the columns requiring the equal height.
Glad you like it Ben. If you reload the page, you'll note we updated the
tutorial to describe a flag we added to the script so that you can set
columns to be ignored when using media queries that reflow the page.
Just make sure you re-download the script.
