printing

i am trying to print  on black cardstock, but the ink won't show up. What can i do?

    silkscreen.

     

    Standard printing inks are translucent and can't show up strongly on dark stock. Silk skreen uses thicker opaque inks that sit on top of the black paper.

    Foil also works great.

     

    But if you don't want to spend a lot, maybe start with white card stock, and paint the sheet black with inks, leaving your design in other colors or the stock color. The result looks like you printed on black, but you actually printed the black instead.
