Where are still frame captures saved?

When I do a Shift-E to do a still frame capture and export, Premiere Pro cs6 simply saves the current showing frame somewhere. Where is this file saved? Shouldn't there be a dialog box that comes up to show where you might want save the file? This is mysterious and I need help to figure it out.

    You can tell it to save ...wherever you want.

     

    I have a Frame Grabs Folder for this purpose.

     

    Note : Path and Browse .

    Hmm..., Sounds good, but since there is no dialog window that comes up, how can I tell it where to save?

    Mine end up in Adobe>Premiere Pro  as a still file. ie., in Documents in an i7 System ?

     

    Or when you Export Frame you can choose where to save it , say to "c" Drive/Users/Pictures/Stream..... or whatever.Check pop up window.

    Thanks Bob and shooternz, As a fumbling beginner in my first few days of using Premiere, I now see that I need to be a little more 'deft' with the keystrokes for this command. A Shift-E does indeed bring up a dialog box. I was just being a little to delecate with my touchE. Thanks, all is well with this now.

    Try using the camera icon under each of the 2 monitors as an easy option method to Export  Frame
