How to know if a file is opened in AIR?

Feb 10, 2013 11:16 PM

Hello,

I am working on a application where I need to find if a file is opened. Say I need to pick few files from a folder and send them to the server. My requirement is, if any of the file in that bunch is opened (say, a excel file opened through Microsoft Excel), then I want to ignore it. Please help me in this respect.

Thanks in advance,

Nirmal Kumar Bhogadi.

Before attempting FileReference.upload(), you could try FileReference.save(). Air shouldn`t be able to save an excel file if its open in excel.
