Set In and out point for all clips in a bin?

I am learning Premiere pro after working on AVID. Is there the equivalent of being able to set an identical in and out point and duration on all clips in a bin and then build the sequence automatically as with Avid's bin in script mode?

    Premiere does not do scripts, so answer would be no.

    The script view in Avid is a type of bin view but it also enables you to carry out this function.

     

    I'm trying to assemble storyboards but you could use it to assemble photo pictures so they were all the same length / timing and then put a music track along with them.

     

    One way round it could be to set the desired length on import. Would you then be able to extend the length of an imported still in Premiere after that?

    You could do it the way you suggest and YES you can extend a stills length after importing with that duration set. So yes, your best bet is set the default import duration to the length you want, then import stills, order them in thumbnail view, then use the automate to sequence command.

    You can change the default length of the all the stills in the Project Window (right click/duration) in one go.

    Or Ripple trim them on the timeline in one go.

    Select Ripple Edit Tool.

    Select stills and ripple trim.

    Thanks for all the info, great to see there's at least 3 ways for me to do it from here on in, i like the right click/duration the best.
