I have a project from Elements 8 that I want to transfer to Pro CS5. When I open the project in Pro, it converts the project and when it finishes opening I have all my sequences. However, the timeline is empty. How do I replciate the timeline that I had in Elements into Pro? I don't want to have to start from scratch.
Maybe I'm getting my terms mixed up. This is the only area that I see to have content after I open the project:
Are those sequences? If I double click any of them it just appears in the preview window. And when I do that they're already trimmed and ready to go. I just need to know how to get all the data onto the timeline in the exact spots as it was on the project for Elements 8.
Alright, I guess I don't have any sequences; just clips. But how do I transfer my timeline from Adobe Premiere Elements 8 to Adobe Premiere Pro CS5? Surely they don't expect you to start over; all the clips are already trimmed, but how do I get them in the exact spots as they were in Elements?
It's a little more complciated than that. I'm trying to change programs because the crop effect is completely messed up, for me, on Adobe Premiere Elements 8. I figured if I switched to PRO the effect wouldn't be bugged. I made a separate thread for that, which unfortunately is also unsolved at the moment.
