Entering text as 10 pt Arial by default

Is there a way to set text entered as 10 pt Arial by default?

    Which version of Acrobat?
    Entering text with exactly what tool or method? (There are many methods, which may have different answers)

    Setting a default may also be an issue. Keep in mind that Acrobat is not really an editing tool, but provides the tools for minor editing or for commenting and completing forms.

    I am entering text via Tools | Edit Document Text and then ctrl + left click on the part of the file where I want to add the text.

    You mentioned there are many methods, which may have different answers. Do you have any suggestions for entering text via Tools | Edit Document Text and then ctrl + left click on the part of the file where text is being added?
