I INSTALLED PHOTSHOP ELEMENTS 4 YEARS AGO WHILE ON XP; RECENTLY I  WANT TO UPLOAD THIS WITH WIN 7

BECAUSE MY DISC IS MARKED XP IT WILL UPLOAD; BUT IS NOT COMPATIBLE? HOW DO I GET UPGRADES FOR THIS AS IT WORKED WITH WIN 7 BEFORE UNTIL THE VIRUS STRUCK?

    Try copying the contents of the disk to a folder on the desktop and see if you can run set-up from there.

    Technically speaking, only Photoshop Elements 5 (with the 5.0.2 update installed) and later are compatible with Windows Vista or later.

     

    Compatibility modes have help folks run earlier software that was not designed to work on newer systems.
